Selena Gomez and Andy Samberg Say Goodbye to “Hotel Transylvania”

When Selena Gomez and Andy Samberg signed on to star in the first “Hotel Transylvania” movie in 2012, they didn’t expect them to repeat three sequels: Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015), “Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation (2018),” and most movies. “Hotel Transylvania: Transformania”, released in January 2022.

Actress and singer Selena Gomez thought the movie would have at least two sequels, but it turned out to be more than that.

Actor Andy Samberg, who voices Jonathan’s character, said, “Every time you play a successful animated movie, there will be opportunities, you know, especially for kids and families, and you hope to be a part of it. So it’s such a joy. surprise.”

In her first movie, Selena Gomez plays Mavis, Dracula’s daughter, and Andy plays Johnny, a teenager who accidentally stumbles upon a hotel just for supernatural guests. Johnny later falls in love with Mavis.

In the fourth movie, “Hotel Transylvania,” which is also the final sequel, Brian Hull takes on the role of hotel owner Dracula, previously voiced by Adam Sandler.

Gomez, who also serves as executive producer, said the film was dubbed in a “safe environment” during the pandemic.

“First of all it was so much fun being able to see everything and be aware of other people’s presence and be able to hear their voices. Sometimes I wish I could record with other people. That’s the biggest thing about animation. I think I missed working with everybody,” he explained.

Gomez says the movie “Transformia” explores the relationship between Dracula and his wife Mavis, who steals a potion that can turn him into a monster to prove he’s worthy of a hotel legacy. Furthermore, Dracula transforms into a human and must endure the humiliation of being an ordinary human as the two search for the antidote. [lj/uh]
